MARVEL COMICS OF ITS WOMEN AND WOMEN IN THEIR COMICS. (For Jack the Grey)
seems that Marvel is committed to publishing comics with female protagonists. That's fine. Change is good.
But the quality of all products published until now shines (largely) absent.
The truth is that rather than protest a draft that, in turn, should attract readers to comics, it seems that is simply an excuse for the publisher to get some extra comics and the goals of the month.
And is that beyond the beautiful covers of Jelena Djurdjevic, wife of "Lucky Marko" (saw the talent and beauty his wife), these comics are not able to provide the basic ingredient of a comic. Marvel is not used much lately. It's called "entertainment."
of the female characters in the comic, only remember bad.
... As Sue's letter to Reed on the Civil War, which was like a cheap prostitute. Look
a couple of related examples. Wasp and Firestar. Kurt Busiek had already resolved the issue of abuse of the first and second cancer.
But as the writers replaced him did not have ideas (or had no idea or gave them the same, which is most likely) again and again about it, and even recreated.
Monica Rambeau. Captain Marvel. Press. Photon. Fabian Nicieza and Warren Ellis tried to joke / serious all the other atrocities they had done with the ex - leader of the Avengers. In the end he has been to be "dumb" amorous passing through the bed of black characters (and male) of the publisher.
Not to mention STORM. Ororo went from being the leader of the X-MEN and an iconic character to a goofy, worried about her hair, which was limited to a secondary role in the series of BLACK PANTHER.
Has anyone read the ONE SHOT dedicated the goddess SIF? Painful. And to think all he did with the character Walter Simonson ... could go to perpetuate the list.
Worst of all is that this is unlikely to change.
The only good thing is that we will always re-read the comics from the 80's. Does it sound? Chris Claremont and Roger Stern put two young African American women in front of the X-Men and the Avengers.
seems they did not need to sell cheap campaigns and dazzle comics fans.
